Within our profession why is it that our profession does everything possible to avoid the subject of occlusion?

Today dentist are looking for ways to improve their practice and services that remedy dental problems by involving themselves into the following areas:

  • Esthetics
  • Endo
  • Sleep
  • CAD/ Digital
  • Surgery: Bone, Augmenting, Grafting
  • Operative
  • Laser
  • Hygiene
  • Practice Management

Yet they are programmed to avoid the inevitable:…. Teeth come together…..  “OCCLUSION”?
